TUNAP grows in 2025: Why “Preserve Instead of Replace” is becoming a key success factor
TUNAP reports strong growth in 2025, driven by rising demand for sustainable solutions in cleaning, lubrication and protection. With its “Preserve Instead of Replace” approach, the company helps businesses extend component lifecycles, reduce downtime and increase efficiency across automotive, industrial, sports and private label sectors.
TUNAP grows in 2025: Why “Preserve Instead of Replace” is becoming increasingly important for companies – sustainable solutions, efficient processes and strong international development.
The TUNAP Group looks back on a successful 2025 financial year: Despite challenging market conditions, the company achieved sales of around 274 million euros, marking slight growth compared to 2024. International markets in particular made a decisive contribution to this positive result.
The figures make one thing clear: solutions in the areas of cleaning, lubrication and protection are more important for companies than ever. In times of rising costs, skilled labor shortages and sustainability requirements, “Preserve Instead of Replace” (Reinigen/Erhalten statt Tauschen) is developing into a key economic driver.
TUNAP as a technology leader in cleaning, lubrication and protection
Since 1974, TUNAP has been developing and producing chemical solutions used worldwide—from aerosols and lubricants to cleaners for technical and industrial applications. Today, the group employs 752 people worldwide and serves more than 30,000 customers.
The combination of in-house research & development, modern production and global sales structures makes TUNAP a leading provider in four key areas:
1. Automotive – Cleaning systems that reduce costs
Well-known solutions such as the airco well® air conditioning cleaning system, as well as the TUNAP microflex®, Human+Technologie and Professional Line product ranges, set global standards.
They clean effectively and ensure that components function longer without needing to be replaced.
TUNAP demonstrates impressively how sustainable chemical solutions can increase the lifespan of vehicles.
2. Industry – Efficiency through cleaning and lubrication
In industrial environments, downtime means high costs. TUNAP products such as specialty lubricants, technical cleaners and aerosols ensure machines run reliably — and components do not need to be replaced unnecessarily.
3. TUNAP SPORTS – More performance and less wear for bikes
In 2025, TUNAP SPORTS launched a comprehensive brand relaunch. The new categories:
- Clean
- Lube
- Protect
provide clear, consumer-oriented structure for the entire bike care range.
High-quality bike cleaners and lubricants reduce wear — making “Preserve Instead of Replace” a sustainable standard for workshops and end consumers in the cycling sector as well.
4. Private Label – Customized chemical products
In the Private Label segment, TUNAP develops tailor-made cleaning solutions, lubricants and aerosols.
Companies benefit from customized formulations that optimize technical processes and reliably preserve components.
With production sites in Wolfratshausen, Lichtenau and Märstetten (Switzerland), TUNAP manufactures high-quality solutions directly in Europe.
New management structure strengthens future growth
In 2025, TUNAP expanded its management team. Elisabeth Vag, Daniel Helwig, Maximilian Buchner and Oliver Graetsch now jointly form the leadership team of TUNAP GmbH & Co. KG.
This strengthens the foundation for further international growth and innovation.
Investments 2026: Expanding capacity to meet growing demand
For 2026, TUNAP is planning extensive investments:
- expansion of warehouse and logistics space
- modernization and expansion of the aerosol production machinery
The goal is to further optimize processes and sustainably meet increasing customer demand.
Conclusion: The figures show – sustainable cleaning has a future
The 2025 financial year confirms:
“Preserve Instead of Replace” is an economically effective, resource-saving and future-oriented approach.
With its expertise in automotive, industry, bike care and private label products, TUNAP remains a strong partner for companies worldwide aiming to work more efficiently, sustainably and cost-effectively.
